Time after time after Cyndi Lauper stinkin time these dummy photographers and officials get stuck with javelins at track and field events!
This has gotta be one of the stupidest moves ever.
If you are a photographer or track and field referee and you get assigned to the javelin then leave....just leave.

BTW the guy only received stitches, no major damage.
